I have been the Chair of Rights and Equality Sandwell since 2020. I  retired in July 2019 having worked at Sandwell College as an Executive Director since 1993. I have extensive knowledge of the  Further Education sector both in colleges, commercial and community settings.  I attained a BA degree in Further and Higher Education, level 6 ESOL qualification and a Post Grad Cert in Mentoring at the University of Wolverhampton. I have several years successful leadership  experience and  teaching ESOL, numeracy and literacy. My  passion is Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and is the reason why I immerse myself in RES and it's  business  on a voluntary basis.

I enjoy supporting local interventions and activities that help vulnerable people. I am highly skilled in bid writing, research and evaluation. I can also teach adults and hold a teaching qualification. I enjoy helping the voluntary sector because I learn so much from local people which helps me understand real challenges in our community to then inform community led interventions when bid writing.

Hi my name is Mo and I’m a volunteer at RES, I am currently doing a level 3 massage course and I’m a self taught PT, I’m well known in the community and I have contributed in recruiting people for the numeracy project in November 2024.

I joined RES as a numeracy champion administrator for the Multiply project. It was a useful experience that enriched my experience in dealing with different groups with different backgrounds and satisfied my desire to help others, which provides me with energy to continue . I studied mathematics and computer sciences. I worked as a programmer, and my inclinations settled in teaching mathematics and statistics. I joined RES as a numeracy champion administrator for the Multiply project. I studied mathematics and computer sciences. I worked as a programmer for one year. After that, my inclinations settled in teaching mathematics and statistics. As a statistician, I have good experience in data analysis and scientific research. I am good at  designing by computer. I love to play table tennis, badminton, and volleyball as  hobbies.

I’m a digital marketing expert with a broad skill set, including website development, branding, social media, videography, graphic design, and more. I'm passionate about learning and constantly expanding my knowledge. Entrepreneurship drives me, pushing me to explore new opportunities and ideas.
Outside of work, I’m a skilled musician, proficient in playing four instruments at a professional level. I also enjoy long walks and, most importantly, spending quality time with my baby girls.

 I am an ESOL teacher, and I  love it, I get to meet so many people with different  backgrounds, learn different cultures, and it's a very rewarding job. My favourite hobby is going on long walks with my daughter and reading books.

I am passionate about empowering individuals through numeracy skills, which is why I started volunteering with RES in the Skills for Life Multiply Project.  Seeing the positive impact on people's lives brings me immense joy and satisfaction. My excellent communication skills enable me to connect with diverse audiences and make data-driven insights accessible to all. 

With a strong background in teaching mathematics and biostatistics, combined with research experience, I excel at interpreting complex statistical information in a clear and accessible manner for stakeholders.
Solving puzzles is my go-to hobby. I enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of figuring out complex problems, which helps me relax and sharpen my mind.
